Program
1st day: DAMBULLA / SIGIRIYA
- Arrival at Colombo airport.
- Reception and assistance by our local agent. Visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, established in 1975, started with seven orphans. Today, some of these orphans enjoy the chance to see their grandchildren born in one place.
- Transfer and installation at the hotel. Free afternoon
- Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
2nd DAY: SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Explore the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a World Heritage Site from the 5th century AD, built by King Kashyapa. It houses water gardens, frescoes, ancient graffiti and offers stunning views of Sri Lankan greenery.
- Afternoon Visit of Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital and a World Heritage Site. This second capital of Sri Lanka was built in the 11th and 12th centuries. See the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Lotus Bath and the Statue of Polonnaruwa and visit the Gal Vihare which is splendid statues of the Buddha carved in rock.
- Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
3rd day: DAMBULA – MATALE – KANDY
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit of the rock temple of Dambulla cave.
- Departure to Kandy, on the way visit the gardens of spices. In the evening, enjoy a cultural show.
- Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
4th day: KANDY -MALDIVES
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit the Temple of the Dental Relic Visit the Temple of the Dental Relic
- Transfer end of the day to Colombo Airport for flight to the Maldive Islands.
- Arrival at MALE airport.
